FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How does Awardco Engage help organizations act on survey results?

Engage helps teams identify themes and areas of strength or opportunity so leaders can focus follow-up on the issues that matter most to employees. Teams can use survey results, comments, and recurring pulses to understand whether initiatives are addressing those areas over time.

Organizations may also use configured action-planning workflows or related tools to assign, monitor, and revisit follow-up actions. The availability and scope of action-planning functionality can vary as the product and organization’s configuration evolve, so teams should confirm the current capabilities included in their plan.

Collecting feedback is only one part of an effective listening strategy; organizations should also establish ownership, communication, and follow-up processes before launching a survey.

What reporting and dashboards does Awardco Engage provide?

Engage reporting can help organizations review response rates, survey results, question-level feedback, themes, favorability or engagement measures, and optional comments.

Depending on the survey and permissions, administrators and leaders may be able to view results through dashboards, filter them by approved organizational groups, and review manager- or department-level insights. Role-based access and confidentiality controls determine what each audience can see.

Organizations may be able to export or further analyze available survey data, but the specific fields, comparisons, and dashboard views depend on configuration.

Can we target surveys and analyze results by department, location, role, or other employee groups?

Yes. Organizations can use available employee and organizational data to target surveys to specific populations and analyze results across approved groups.

Depending on the data available, groups may be defined by department, location, job title, employment status, business unit, or other configured metadata. These filters can help teams identify differences in employee experience while maintaining the applicable confidentiality controls.

The available segments and reporting dimensions depend on the employee data provided to Awardco and the organization’s permissions configuration.

Are Awardco Engage surveys anonymous or confidential?

Awardco Engage surveys are designed to protect employee confidentiality while still allowing organizations to analyze results by approved organizational groups.

Current product materials describe a response-suppression threshold: results for groups with fewer than five responses are not displayed. This helps reduce the risk that a manager or administrator could infer an individual employee’s answers from a small group.

Confidentiality does not mean that every response is completely unassociated with organizational data. Organizations should review the applicable confidentiality policy, permissions, filters, and reporting behavior before launching a survey.

‍

Can we use Awardco’s question library and add our own questions?

Yes. Engage provides a library of research-backed questions that organizations can use when building employee surveys, and organizations can also create custom questions for their own priorities.

Depending on the question and survey configuration, teams can collect scaled or other quantitative responses and add optional comments to capture qualitative feedback. The platform empowers admins to create surveys in whatever format they see fit.

The available question types, required or optional settings, and reporting treatment depend on the enabled survey functionality.

Can Awardco Engage support annual engagement surveys and recurring pulse surveys?

Yes. Organizations can use Engage for larger annual or periodic engagement surveys as well as shorter pulse surveys that run on a recurring schedule.

A pulse approach can help teams check progress between larger surveys, follow up on a specific topic, or gather feedback after an organizational change or initiative. Organizations can choose the cadence and survey design that fit their listening strategy.

Available scheduling options and survey workflows depend on the organization’s configuration.

‍

What is the difference between Awardco simple surveys and Awardco Engage™?

Awardco simple surveys are designed for straightforward, one-time feedback collection. Organizations can use them to ask a focused set of questions, distribute the survey, and review the responses.

Awardco Engage is designed for more structured employee listening. It supports engagement surveys and pulse surveys with a question library, configurable survey experiences, themes, and deeper reporting and analytics.

The right option depends on whether an organization needs a quick survey or a more comprehensive approach to measuring employee sentiment over time.
