Communication With Heart

Recognition is no different. We understand the vital relationship between communication and recognition, and we’ve worked hard to make it even easier to recognise others through the platform by integrating with Slack. If you use Slack as a communication tool in your organization, you can link your Awardco platform to Slack, and then proceed to recognise, reward, and build a culture of engagement all from one spot.

We wanted to be able to offer users the ability to recognise using their existing internal communication tools, and so we integrated with Slack to make that possible. Recognizing in Slack

After linking your Awardco and Slack accounts (it’s easy, don’t worry!), anyone in your organization will be able to use slack to recognise by typing /recognise directly into slack.

After typing /recognise and hitting enter, users will see a recognition pop-up that asks who they want to recognise. After searching for another user and hitting submit, users will have the option to select which program to use to recognise, enter any recognition comments, and award points, if applicable.

After pressing submit, the recognition will immediately be posted to the Slack channel and the recognition feed in the Awardco platform. If recognition approvals are needed, the system will intuitively know this based on which program was selected by the user to recognise their peer. After approval, the recognition will be posted in Slack and Awardco as normal.
