The updates I’ll cover today fit into three different three key areas of focus: Awardco 2.0, Recognition Experience and Global Expansion.

Awardco 2.0

Awardco 2.0 is the evolution of our platform—a reimagined foundation built to deliver more personalized, scalable, and intuitive recognition experiences. It’s not just a visual refresh or a feature update; it’s a long-term investment in creating a more dynamic, flexible system that meets the modern demands of employee engagement.

At its core, Awardco 2.0 empowers organizations to go beyond transactional recognition. With smarter workflows, deeper insights, and more human-centered experiences, we’re enabling admins to drive meaningful culture change and employees to feel seen, valued, and connected—every day. It’s the future of engagement, built for lasting impact.

New Navigation

What it is: A redesigned core navigation experience to help end users get the most out of their recognition platform, plus enhancements to branding and accessibility. 

How it benefits admins and employees: Streamlines access to key features and tools, reducing friction and improving productivity across the platform. The goal is to make it easy and intuitive for employees to recognize each other and redeem any points earned! 

New Recognition Flow

What it is: An enhanced end-to-end recognition experience makes it easier and faster for employees to show appreciation for their peers or direct reports from anywhere in the platform via a “Recognize” button, now pinned in the top navigation.

How it benefits admins and employees: More accessible and intuitive workflows encourage greater peer-to-peer recognition and allow admins to tailor recognition processes to their org’s needs. It also enables visual cues to tie recognition to employee values and ensure those values are filtering throughout the organization. 

New Notifications

What it is: A comprehensive overhaul of the notifications system that gives admins greater control over what users are notified about, when they’re notified, and through which channels. This includes updates to email, in-app, and mobile notifications.

How it benefits admins and employees: Improves communication efficiency and relevance across the platform by allowing admins to customize notifications to match their organizational needs. For employees, this reduces noise and ensures they never miss a moment of recognition, reward, or action required — no matter where they are.

Admin Adoption Dashboard

What it is: A robust dashboard that gives admins visibility into platform usage and engagement.

How it benefits admins and employees: Enables admins to measure feature adoption and identify opportunities to drive platform utilization, ultimately boosting ROI on recognition programs.

User Profiles

What it is: Expanded user profile updates will empower engagement, personalize the recognition experience, and facilitate smoother onboarding.

How it benefits admins and employees: Facilitates cleaner, quicker setup for new users and gives employees more control of their data, a more personalized experience, and a place to share additional information about themselves—promoting more genuine connection with colleagues.

Feature Highlights

What it is: A new in-platform experience that helps onboard users and spotlights recently released features. Feature Highlights ensure that employees and admins alike are aware of new tools, enhancements, and capabilities as soon as they go live.

How it benefits admins and employees: Drives immediate awareness and adoption of the latest platform innovations without requiring separate training or announcements. This keeps everyone informed, empowered, and engaged.

Recognition and Redemption Experience

The Recognition and Redemption Experience is centered on refining the core interactions within our platform, ensuring that acknowledging contributions and enjoying rewards is more intuitive and rewarding than ever. By focusing on streamlined workflows and enhanced functionality, we're dedicated to removing friction and making it effortless for every employee to engage in meaningful recognition and effortlessly access the value of their earned points. This initiative is about empowering a culture of appreciation through simplicity and satisfaction.

Badges and Achievements

What it is: A new feature that rewards employees with badges for recognition activity—such as sending their first recognition or achieving levels of total recognitions sent (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond).

How it benefits admins and employees: Adds a gamified element to recognition by celebrating employees who contribute to a positive culture. Employees can track progress and feel appreciated for their efforts, while admins benefit from increased recognition activity and cultural momentum.

Active Recognizer

What it is: A visual flair on a user’s profile that highlights employees who’ve given recognition in the past seven days.

How it benefits admins and employees: Promotes consistent recognition behavior by rewarding activity with visible status across the platform, increasing motivation and setting an example for others.

Pinned Recognitions

What it is: A new widget that allows recognitions to be pinned and featured in a prominent location to all users for a desired amount of time.

How it benefits admins and employees: Keeps standout moments front and center, reinforcing positive behavior and boosting visibility of impactful contributions.

Search Enhancements

What it is: Advanced improvements to search functionality within the Redemption Marketplace.

How it benefits admins and employees: Drastically improves discoverability of rewards, reducing search time and improving satisfaction during the redemption process.

AI Update for Engagement Widget Quality Score & Recognition Themes

What it is: Enterprise experience enhancement integrating AI into the quality scoring and themes within the recognition feed.

How it benefits admins and employees: This enhancement to our data science leverages AI to improve how recognition content aligns with company values or pre-set themes, providing richer insights and improved measurement of culture impact.

Global Expansion

These new product features underscore our commitment to providing a truly global recognition and rewards experience. With support for 163 countries, 135 global currencies, and serving over 6 million users on the platform worldwide, these updates are designed to seamlessly connect and reward employees across diverse regions. We are dedicated to breaking down geographical barriers, ensuring that every individual, no matter where they are, can fully participate in and benefit from a vibrant culture of appreciation.

Amazon Secondary Fulfillment Country Support

What it is: A Redemption Marketplace enhancement that enables users to receive orders from Amazon in a country other than their profile default.

How it benefits admins and employees: Enables broader geographic support for Amazon fulfillment, ensuring employees in more countries receive rewards seamlessly.

EU/UK Terms Policies

What it is: Updates to platform workflows requiring EU and UK users to accept region-specific terms and conditions, in compliance with local regulations.

How it benefits admins and employees: Ensures legal adherence for international teams, reducing risk while enabling secure platform use abroad.
