FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What support will we receive before and after launch?
Awardco provides implementation guidance and ongoing customer support to help organisations build, launch and manage their programmes.
Depending on the organisation’s scope and agreement, support may include an implementation consultant, customer success manager, technical or integration resources, configuration guidance, training, launch planning and ongoing programme reviews. Awardco teams can help translate organisational goals into programme rules, budgets, rewards, communications and reporting.
After launch, organisations can use available administrators, reporting and support resources to maintain programmes, review adoption, make updates and expand use cases. Team structure, services, timelines and support levels vary by plan and implementation scope.
Can Awardco integrate with our HRIS and existing employee tools without a major IT project?
Awardco integrates with supported employee data, identity, payroll, communication and other business systems. Depending on the use case and systems involved, organisations may use a supported native connection, API, secure file transfer, scheduled file feed or another configured method.
Employee data can support user provisioning, employee lifecycle updates, eligibility, hierarchy, automated programmes, budgets and reporting. Connections with communication tools can also help employees access recognition and rewards where they already work, when those connections are supported and enabled.
The required technical work depends on the data, security requirements, connection method and systems involved. Organisations can also use a file-based or manual process for some use cases when a deeper integration is not necessary.
How much work does implementation require from our team?
Awardco implementation is designed to be a collaborative process in which Awardco helps configure the platform, programmes, data connections, rewards, communications, and administrative controls.
The organisation’s team typically provides the information, decisions, approvals, brand assets, employee data, and technical access needed to build the intended experience. Teams may also participate in regular working sessions to review configuration, test workflows, and prepare for launch.
Implementation effort and timing depend on the number of programmes, employee groups, countries, integrations, policies, and custom requirements. A focused mid-market rollout may require less time than a multi-country or highly customised implementation, so the expected timeline should be established during scoping.
Can we start with one programme and expand over time?
Yes. Organisations can begin with a focused use case—such as service anniversaries, onboarding, birthdays, or spot recognition—and add programmes or capabilities as their needs develop.
A phased approach can help an organisation establish a strong foundation, learn from employee adoption, and align additional investment with business priorities. Later phases may add peer-to-peer recognition, manager awards, incentives, employee surveys, communications, a company merchandise store, or additional employee groups and regions when supported by the organisation’s plan and configuration.
The programmes and capabilities available at launch, and the process for adding them later, should be confirmed as part of the organisation’s commercial and implementation scope.
Is Awardco a good fit for mid-market organisations?
Awardco supports growing and mid-market organisations that want to establish a consistent recognition and rewards experience without the complexity of managing multiple disconnected programmes or vendors.
Organisations can use Awardco to centralise recognition, rewards, employee communications, milestone programmes, incentives, and reporting in one platform. The experience can be configured around the organisation’s workforce, goals, budget, communication channels, and current level of programme maturity.
Awardco supports organisations that are formalising recognition for the first time, replacing manual processes or a legacy vendor, or expanding an existing programme as the company grows. The right approach depends on the organisation’s size, structure, employee populations, use cases, and priorities.
