FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the Awardco Rewards Marketplace catalog library?
The Awardco Rewards Marketplace catalog library is a collection of pre-built product catalogs organizations use to stock their company store with custom branded merchandise. It currently includes two catalogs: the Core Swag Collection, which covers everyday branded essentials at low order minimums, and the Curated Brand Catalog, which features premium name-brand merchandise from over 35 brands including Nike, YETI, The North Face, and Lululemon. Each catalog groups items by category so companies can find swag that fits their budget and brand without building a product list from scratch.
What's the difference between the Core Swag Collection and the Curated Brand Catalog?
The Core Swag Collection focuses on high-volume, everyday branded merchandise, including tees, drinkware, bags, headwear, and business basics, at low minimum order quantities and predictable pricing. The Curated Brand Catalog features premium, name-brand merchandise from brands like Nike, Lululemon, YETI, Carhartt, The North Face, Bose, Apple, Hydro Flask, and Stanley, among others. The Core Collection is built for budget-conscious bulk orders across locations. The Curated Brand Catalog is built for programs where brand recognition matters, like milestone gifts, executive gifting, or high-visibility appreciation moments.
What brands are available in the Awardco Curated Brand Catalog?
The Awardco Curated Brand Catalog includes merchandise from over 35 name brands: Adidas, Alo Yoga, Anker, Apple, Bose, Callaway, CamelBak, Carhartt, Columbia, Corkcicle, Cotopaxi, Fellow, Hydro Flask, HydroJug, Igloo, Kashwére, Lululemon, Melin, Minky Couture, MiiR, Moleskine, Nike, Nomadix, Owala, Rains, Stanley, tentree, The North Face, Therabody, Timbuk2, Titleist, TravisMathew, UNRL, Vineyard Vines, Vuori, W&P, and YETI. Available items within each brand vary by catalog update cycle.
What product categories are available in the swag catalogs?
The Awardco catalog library covers ten product categories: Apparel, Headwear, Bags & Totes, Drinkware, Tech Accessories, Sports & Outdoors, Wellness & Lifestyle, Business Essentials, Events & Trade Shows, and Writing Instruments. Products are tagged by category within each catalog so organizations can filter to the items most relevant to their program.
Are there order minimums for custom branded merchandise?
Minimum order quantities (MOQs) vary by item and are listed on each product page within the catalog. Some items are available with MOQs as low as 1 unit, while bulk or specialty items may require higher minimums. There is no category-wide minimum across the catalog as a whole.
How is pricing determined for catalog items?
Pricing for catalog items typically includes a one-color, one-location imprint. Additional charges apply for setup fees, extra imprint colors, and additional decoration locations. Setup fees are a one-time per-design charge and are listed separately from the per-unit price. Prices reflect current U.S. tariff rates and vendor costs and may be updated based on freight, materials, or tariff changes.
How long does branded merchandise take to produce and deliver?
Production and delivery timelines for custom branded merchandise vary by item, order quantity, and decoration complexity. Standard in stock items with a single imprint location typically ship within 3 to 7 business days of order confirmation. Items requiring multi-color decoration or specialty finishing may require additional lead time. Estimated production timelines are listed on each product page. Rush options may be available for select items.
Can employees select their own swag from the catalog, or does HR choose for them?
Both models are supported through Awardco. Organizations can configure their company store so that employees browse the catalog and choose merchandise themselves using their Awardco points or a designated budget. Alternatively, HR and program administrators can select and send specific items directly. The catalog library is the product inventory that powers both approaches.
Can I use Awardco points to purchase items from the swag catalog?
Yes. Items in the Awardco Rewards Marketplace catalog library are available for purchase using Awardco reward points. Employees redeeming points see the full catalog in their Awardco account. Organizations can also allocate a fixed budget or stipend for swag purchases outside of the standard points program, depending on how their Awardco program is configured.
How is the swag catalog different from standard promotional merchandise vendors?
Unlike ordering from a traditional promotional merchandise vendor, the Awardco catalog library is built into the same platform employees use for recognition and rewards. That means organizations do not need a separate vendor relationship, purchase order process, or fulfillment integration. Products are pre-vetted, pre-priced with imprint costs included, and ready to add to a company store without custom procurement work. Employees can also redeem recognition points directly on branded merchandise from the same place they receive their rewards.
How often are new catalogs added to the marketplace?
New catalogs are added to the Awardco Rewards Marketplace on a rolling basis. Each catalog card in the library displays a "Last updated" date so organizations can see how recently items, pricing, or brand selections were refreshed. Organizations using the Awardco platform can contact their account team to request early access to upcoming catalog additions.
