Return on recognition

Why celebrate life’s big moments?

Recognizing your employees’ personal milestones shows that you see them, value them, and care about more than just deadlines or ROI. When people feel truly appreciated, they stick around, work harder, and show up happier.

One of the great things about Awardco is it's simple and it's easy to use. So having that intuitive platform allows our employees to quickly hop online and recognize each other in a way that's meaningful and fun.
Jessica Mollica
Vice President, Human Resources Field
Awardco not only ensures each employee receives the recognition they deserve from the company, but it provides a meaningful way for team members to shine a spotlight on each other's contributions daily, which would otherwise be nearly impossible to do with our 100% remote workforce.
Lindsay Obrentz
Vice President, Marketing and Communications
The platform is user friendly, intuitive, and looks great! Plus, the marketplace available offers a lot of great options for employees to redeem their points for great prizes and rewards.

If we retain a teacher, that’s 20 students we get to serve. Going from 45% turnover to 8% means we’ve kept 85–90 more staff. That’s an incredible impact on both our children and our budget.

With Awardco, we have now taken the work off of our plates and we're doing things that we've never had the time or the capabilities to do previously.

I genuinely enjoy reading the daily kudos in Slack. Seeing the names and stories of colleagues going above and beyond is inspiring—it motivates me every day and reminds me why I’m proud to be part of PMG.

It’s incredibly accessible. You don’t have to be tech-savvy—you can use it on your phone, through Outlook, or even a Teams plugin. It meets people where they are.

The flexible rewards offered are my favorite part. Rather than giving gift cards or merchandise that individuals might not use, they get to decide what they want.

As an evolving company, I like to ask myself if we're better than we were a year ago—and with employee recognition and employee engagement, the answer is absolutely.

Before we had Awardco I'd have to send out physical cards, anniversary pins, and certificates manually via our in-house mailroom or the Post Office. I was happy to do it but it did take a lot of time to keep track of everything, and it was a challenge to make sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Now I can look at my calendar and see the upcoming service anniversaries and feel confident that they'll be taken care of.

My experience partnering with Awardco from an admin perspective has been outstanding. The platform is user-friendly and intuitive, leaving me empowered as an admin to own managing the platform and overall recognition programming.

So it's not just working out. And we have found that pictures tell a thousand words. So for example, we were doing something around, eat the colors of the rainbow and to send us in those pictures. And then that gets people more excited, and then they're logging their stuff, and then they're getting rewarded on Awardco. They love when that email comes out once a quarter. They're, like, ready. Like, did I get my points? How many points did I get?
Jenny Ketchepaw
VP, Talent Engagement
Awardco makes it easy to recognize people for the awesome things they do—and it's great that recognition converts to points you can spend on real products or gift cards. I love that I can send recognition directly from Slack!

Previously, every manager hand-wrote a message to their employees every six months thanking them for their hard work, and it was all tied in with the bonus distribution. It was very high-touch, very labor intensive, and we had the process down to a science. We liked the connections that formed between managers and employees as a result of this program, but after COVID-19 most of our workforce went remote. Our semi-annual tradition wasn't possible any longer, nor was it feasible.

Our recognition was all over the place before. Awardco brought everything into one centralized, impactful platform.
