As a platform administrator, Awardco stands out as the most user-friendly recognition platform I've ever used. Additionally, Awardco offers the flexibility for our company to incorporate custom resources such as videos, FAQs, and PDFs, enhancing the overall user experience for our associates.

Awardco bridges the gap by giving us a platform to build each other up. There are centers that are really far from each other that can now feel connected to everybody else because we can share the great things that we're doing.

If we retain a teacher, that’s 20 students we get to serve. Going from 45% turnover to 8% means we’ve kept 85–90 more staff. That’s an incredible impact on both our children and our budget.

I love being able to see the full feed of the entire university… before Awardco, I had no idea what was happening in other departments. Being able to see what’s happening across the university really helps you feel more connected.

For us to onboard a staff member, it's probably close to about 5,000 to 6,000 dollars. As a nonprofit, I feel like going to Awardco has been a huge cost-savings advantage.

The product that we're putting out is a lot of fun, but it is not easy to do what we do every single week. People are working really, really hard, and if they feel like just another cog in the machine, that can get disheartening really quickly. Taking that extra time to show appreciation for above-and-beyond effort is really important and reinforces good relationships.

We do an annual engagement survey, and we do see a lot of comments from people saying they love to work here because of the people they work with. We get a lot of good comments about working with others.

The onboarding process was very encouraging. We weren't given the program and told to figure it out on our own—we've had someone to lean on the entire time, someone who helped us navigate this big, company-wide change.

Awardco's platform and program are far and away the best I've seen in my career. Based on behavioral science with an intuitive user interface (and truly customizable reporting!), it is a game changer in employee engagement and appreciation.

Awardco has allowed people to recognize their coworkers in a public way, and we see it every day. Collaboration is in the DNA of Alera Group, and appreciation is absolutely central and core to effective collaboration.

After COVID hit we had over 1800 employees go remote. Our HQ campus became a ghost town. We couldn't do the high touch thing anymore, but still wanted to engage our workforce. Because of the nature of remote work, we didn't even know which employees were where, and there was no way we could use our old system of bi-annual distribution. We had gotten so much positive feedback with our service anniversary program that we reached out to Awardco to see if they could do something to help us with our bonus program.

Previously, every manager hand-wrote a message to their employees every six months thanking them for their hard work, and it was all tied in with the bonus distribution. It was very high-touch, very labor intensive, and we had the process down to a science. We liked the connections that formed between managers and employees as a result of this program, but after COVID-19 most of our workforce went remote. Our semi-annual tradition wasn't possible any longer, nor was it feasible.

All of our locations have TV screens in some area of the facility. When you look up at the screen, not only do you get to see the recognition that you may have shared with somebody or that you may have received, but you get to see it across the company. Having a program that enables that to be done and shared is very special.

From a reporting standpoint, Awardco excels by allowing users to access desired reports quickly through easily accessible links, eliminating the need to navigate through multiple pages as was the case with previous platforms. The platform has garnered significant positive feedback for its user-friendly nature and seamless navigation.

One of the best parts of myKudos [Awardco] is seeing others rally around a recognition post—commenting, reacting, and adding to the praise. I love scrolling through the kudos channel and seeing teammates from other accounts getting hyped up for the great work they’re doing. It really creates a sense of community across the agency.
