Prior to Awardco, the recognition process was manual and time-consuming. Everything was done through emails and spreadsheets, with physical delivery of plaques and gifts. Important milestones were sometimes missed, despite our best intentions.

Recognizing your team members...it's a great way to build moral. To to get those team members to do that extra truck. There's a saying, take care of the people and they'll take care of you. And by taking care of you, it's making sure that every truck is turned in on time and every pallet is pushed through the warehouse.

Using the Awardco mobile app has made it so much easier to recognize our team in the moment. I love being able to snap a quick photo and send recognition right from my phone while I am on the go, so those feelings of appreciation are never lost. In a hospital environment where our people are rarely at a desk, having that kind of flexibility is incredibly important.

Beyond birthdays and anniversaries, Awardco gives us a meaningful way to recognize our values, which is honestly my favorite part of the program. Every company has values and a mission statement, but they can be easy to forget in the day-to-day. Awardco helps keep our values top of mind by tying them directly to recognition.

All of our locations have TV screens in some area of the facility. When you look up at the screen, not only do you get to see the recognition that you may have shared with somebody or that you may have received, but you get to see it across the company. Having a program that enables that to be done and shared is very special.
