Awardco is such a great business partner for us… They really got in, learned about our culture before saying we’re a right fit, and I gave them a lot of credit for that.

It's a fun platform. We love to celebrate our wins. Whether we've completed a great project and I want to give them a shout out, or I want to award points for a job well done… It really does help boost my morale and the morale of our employees here at Hertz.

We have an on-the-spot recognition program where leaders can immediately recognize a CRP for demonstrating safe behavior. That recognition is visible across the organization, which motivates others to do the same. Instead of focusing on what went wrong, we’ve shifted our culture to spotlight what’s being done right—and that’s encouraged everyone to follow that path.

Beyond birthdays and anniversaries, Awardco gives us a meaningful way to recognize our values, which is honestly my favorite part of the program. Every company has values and a mission statement, but they can be easy to forget in the day-to-day. Awardco helps keep our values top of mind by tying them directly to recognition.

From a reporting standpoint, Awardco excels by allowing users to access desired reports quickly through easily accessible links, eliminating the need to navigate through multiple pages as was the case with previous platforms. The platform has garnered significant positive feedback for its user-friendly nature and seamless navigation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Awardco have a native mobile app?

Yes. Awardco has a native mobile app for both iOS and Android, available through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

The app gives employees a mobile-first way to recognize coworkers, stay connected to company culture, browse available rewards, and redeem points directly from their phones. For organizations with deskless, frontline, field, or distributed teams, that means recognition and rewards can happen anywhere work happens.

How do employees download, access, and log in to the Awardco mobile app?

Employees can download the Awardco mobile app directly from the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad or the Google Play Store for Android devices. The simplest path is to search for “Awardco” in the appropriate app store and install the app from there.

Once downloaded, employees sign in using their organization’s normal Awardco login flow. Depending on how the organization is configured, that may include single sign-on (SSO), email verification, or a company-specific login route.

Employees do not always need active work email access on their phone to use the app. In many organizations, users can sign in through their company’s existing authentication flow instead of relying only on inbox access from a mobile device. That can be especially helpful for frontline and deskless employees who do not regularly use a company email account on their phones.

Because login settings vary by organization, the exact sign-in experience depends on how Awardco access has been configured for that employer.

What can employees do in the Awardco mobile app?

The Awardco mobile app is built for the employee experience, not a watered-down companion app.

Employees can use the app to:

  • send recognition to coworkers
  • receive recognition and engagement updates
  • view social activity and program activity
  • browse available rewards and redeem points
  • participate in enabled engagement experiences, such as surveys or related program features
  • manage supported notification preferences

Administrative setup and backend configuration remain desktop tasks, but the everyday employee experience is designed to work on mobile.

How do mobile notifications, SMS, and push alerts work?

Awardco’s mobile experience supports push notifications, and organizations can also use other notification channels such as SMS depending on their setup.

Push notifications help employees stay connected with real-time alerts for moments like receiving recognition or other time-sensitive updates. To receive mobile alerts, the organization must have the relevant notification channels enabled, and users must allow notifications on their device.

In short, mobile notifications are supported, but delivery depends on both organization settings and user opt-in permissions.

Can frontline, field, and distributed employees use the app easily?

Yes. Awardco’s mobile app is especially valuable for organizations with frontline, field, remote, and distributed teams.

It gives employees access to recognition and rewards without requiring them to sit at a desk or rely on a desktop browser. That makes it easier to build consistent recognition habits across a workforce that may be spread across job sites, shifts, stores, plants, care settings, or regions.
