Recognition, when done right, plays an integral role in the culture of an organization, regardless of its industry, size, or location. We highlight and celebrate the stories that showcase the impact of recognition, on both a personal and organizational level, through the Recognize Awards.

What are the Recognize Awards?

Founded in 2021, the Recognize Awards honor our clients who have achieved remarkable success in employee recognition, rewards, and engagement. The Recognize Awards showcase creative solutions, intentional strategies, and human stories of our clients that inspire other people leaders.

Recognize Awards are given in five categories:

  • Best Change Management
  • Best Recognition Strategy
  • Best Global Strategy
  • Best Employee Engagement
  • Best Offline Program

Celebrating our 2025 Recognize Awards winners

Last year, we had dozens of submissions—narrowing it down was difficult, to say the least. But these are the five who stood out from the crowd:

For years, we’ve been uplifted by the accomplishments our clients have achieved to improve their workplaces through recognition. And the Recognize Awards are our way of highlighting a small portion of that.

How do we celebrate winners?

Each Recognize Award winner gets free tickets to our annual RCGNZ Summit in Park City, UT. At Summit, not only does our CEO Steve Sonneberg congratulate them and present them with their award, we also host a Recognize Awards Gala for winners, a night of celebration for each of them.

In addition, our media team visits winners’ locations ahead of time to film a personalized customer story video that is then published on the Awardco website, posted on our social media channels, and shown at the Recognize Awards Gala.

The Recognize Awards feature the people behind the numbers—the HR admins, the executives, and the boots-on-the-ground employees—who make their organizations a better place.

How can you nominate your own organization?

Visit our Recognize Awards site to submit a nomination for your chosen category/categories. Once there, you can read up on the expectations and best practices for applying for each category, and upload your nomination in the format that best suits your organization:

Awardco’s mission is simple: recognize the good. There’s goodness happening all around us, and through Recognize Awards, we can shine a light on just a few examples.
