When Cami Kapp was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at age 50, her world changed overnight. The doctors were there to care for her body, but she quickly realized she didn’t know how to manage her everyday life or mental health while spending so much time and energy fighting for her physical health.
Cami began searching for a space where she could connect with others who understood what she was going through. She found short retreats and scattered resources, but she discovered them only by chance. She wanted to make that path easier for other women so they wouldn’t have to reinvent the wheel.
Pink Sync was born from that hope—a place where women can find the resources they need and connect with others instead of facing this journey blindly or alone.
Their mission is to connect breast cancer patients and survivors with each other, with specialists and with resources to help them on their cancer journey.
Pink Sync hosts three events each year, including a large annual conference where survivors, patients, and medical professionals come together to learn, share, and find strength in community. In addition, their Rescue Meals program partners with Citrus Pear to deliver free freezer meals each month to families in treatment, easing one part of the daily burden.
Donations help fund additional Rescue Meals and expand Pink Sync’s reach, ensuring that no woman has to face breast cancer alone. You can donate and learn more at https://www.pinksync.org.
